Our system allows you to keep full control of your lettings and avoid paying those dreaded commissions to agents.

| Direct Holiday Bookings is designed to put holidaymakers searching for a rental property in direct contact with private owners of holiday accommodation. We promote our site as "booking direct from the owner" and we cannot accept listings from rental companies. |

| Individual Property or Multiple Unit ? |
| |
| When you have registered your name and contact details with us, you will be asked if you wish to advertise an Individual Property or Multiple Unit Property. We classify an Individual Property as a single villa, apartment, house or cottage. A Multiple Unit Property is a group of 2 or more properties sharing the same plot of land or apartment complex. Please note that the maximum number of units that we permit to be shown on a multiple unit advertisement is 4. If your properties are in different locations or not sharing the same plot of land, then you will need separate advertisements for each property. This will make it easier for the potential renter to find the property that they are looking for. |

| Hotels, Guesthouses and B & B |
| |
| We have listed hotels, guest houses and bed & breakfast properties under the relevant region of each country, making it much easier for holidaymakers to find you. Once you have registered with us, simply choose the "guesthouse/bed & breakfast" form to input your text. If you are offering both self catering and bed & breakfast accommodation, please choose a "multiple unit" form according to the number of different accommodation units you provide advice. |

| 'Holiday by Activities' Listing |

| If your property is situated or very close to any holiday activities site, you may wish to promote it to by adding to the 'Holiday by Activities' listing. |

| Photos |
| |
You may upload your digital images directly from your own computer onto our web site.
Our system will resize your images to the best fit for your advert. We have set a maximum upload size of 2MB, which is very large. This is for your convenience, and we will reduce the images to a 'web friendly' size for your advert automatically.
We recommend a mixture of external and internal photos in order to give guests a good overall picture of your property.

| How to Register? |

| Before submitting your advertisement to Direct Holiday Bookings, you must register your name, address, telephone number and e-mail address. You can choose a username and password and this will be then be confirmed to you by e-mail. Once you are registered, you will be able to access your "Advertisement Manager" at any time to submit new properties and also updating your existing listings and availability calendar.

| Availability Calendar |
| |
| Direct Holiday Bookings offer a simple to use availability calendar on all listings (on multiple property advertisements, each unit will have its own calendar). You are able to access and update your calendar at any time to show free/booked dates. We strongly recommend that you make full use of your calendar and keep it up to date, as this will save time and avoid frustration for both you and visitors to the site. Our advanced search facility enables potential renters to search the site for properties by rental dates available and so it is important that you keep your diary up to date. |

| Updating your Advertisement |

| It is possible to update your advertisement at any time by logging in to your Advertisement Manager. Changes to text, photographs and contact details can be made on-line and submitted to us for approval. We usually display these changes on the web site within 24 hours. |

| Special Offers |
| |
| Many of our property owners like to offer a price reduction to fill late availability dates or cancellations. This can be done at any time by adding a single line of text describing your price reduction and will be displayed beneath your property listing. |
