Travel
Lorne is just 2 hours from Melbourne Airport ( Tullamarine ) or 11/4 from Geelong's Avalon airport.
V-line coaches are availble from Geelong & a shuttle service is available by appointment direct to Lorne from Avalon.
Once in Lorne we are 800m North of the Post Office at the juction of The Great Ocean Road ( B100 ) & Deans Marsh Road.

Distances
500 metres to the centre of town. One hour south of Geelong & 2 hours south west to the 12 Apostles.

Changeover day
Check in is from 2 pm daily & check out is at 10am. We close at 10pm & reopen at 8am.
We may have minimum length of stays for peak periods & special events.

Beach
The beach is a very short walk from the Motel. Only 250 Metres along a board walk will find you on a wonderfully long & clean sandy beach. The Lorne Surf Club patrol an area of the beach in the summer season.

Golf
The Lorne Golf Club is located within 1 Km from the Motel. Spectacular nine-hole course set in natural bush with sweeping 180 degree views of the ocean.
Visitors are welcome and green fees are low for this superbly maintained course.
Golf clubs are available for hire.

Fishing
There are numerous fishing locations within walking distance from the Motel. The Lorne Pier is the most popular place with Scnapper, Silver Trevally, Whiting, Garfish, Australian Salmon & Gummy Shark the main varities caught. Surf fishing is also highly productive.

Wine Tasting
There are numerous vineyards within a short distance from the Motel. We are able to offer some local wine for sale to guests & also provide a guide to finding these vineyards.

Accessibility
We have one wheel chair accessable rooms with hand rails in ensuite & drop down seat in the shower. This room has a queen bed & a single sofa bed.
