Description:
Snowy Mountain Holidays is small and personalised offering cottage accommodation uniquely constructed with open beams and a cosy atmosphere. The cottages are fully self-contained with linen provided. Meals or B&B are available with advanced notice.
Snowy Mountain Holidays is located in the rural town of Towong and overlooks the Upper Murray River (onto the Snowy Mountain Range) in North Eastern Victoria.
We are a 2 minute walk to the Upper Murray River and excellent swimming from November to April.
Bird life is abundant and the views are magnificent. There are country roads to cycle on or walk along and a number of National Parks nearby to explore the Australian Bush.
We also offer guided trout fishing trips with (both fly and spin) using canoes and sight seeing canoe trips. Each night guests return to the comfort of a cosy cottage.
Snowy Mountain Holidays operates all year round. We are 1 ½ hr from the city of Albury, NSW, 6hr from Sydney and 5hr from Melbourne.
Truly a relaxing and inspiring rural retreat.
