Our four cottages are distinctly different & spaced well apart over our 53 acre bush property & a nearby 100 acre bush & pastureland property. All are accessed by private driveways so you are not disturbed during your stay & can enjoy your holiday surrounded by nature in peace & quiet. We are located adjacent to West Cape Howe National Park, only 1.5kms from Lowlands Beach & close to the Bibbulmun Track.
The Snug oozes old world charm reminiscent of your Grandparents house. It is spacious with 2 bedrooms fully equipped with quality furnishings & polished timber floors. There is a queen bed in one bedroom & 2 singles in the other, a country style kitchen with a big old pine table & dresser including all utensils, appliances, crockery, cutlery & glassware; comfortable lounge area with TV, Video, DVD & CD Player, huge bathroom, snugly wood heater & it’s bright & airy. The verandah is just perfect for watching the sun set or enjoying a BBQ. The Snug is set within its own fully fenced 1/2 acre of garden & lawns, great for kicking a footy & safe for children & pets. Our tariff at The Snug is $135 per night for 2 & $15 per night for each additional person. This includes all bed linen, quilts, pillows & bath towels.
Cakes n Ale Cottage is perched high with views over tree tops towards the coastal reserve. It is a large 2 bedroom cottage, well equipped with deluxe furnishings & polished timber floors (not suitable for children under 12). There is a king bed in one bedroom & two king singles in the other which are joinable to make another king bed for couples sharing. It has one bathroom with separate shower & bath, a gourmet kitchen including all utensils, appliances, crockery, cutlery & glassware. The lounge area has a TV, Video, DVD & CD Player with plenty of light streaming through huge windows & double doors leading to a deck where you can enjoy a BBQ with the birds or do some serious star gazing. Cakes n Ale cottage has a wood heater for atmosphere as well as convenient reverse cycle air conditioning for heating & cooling if preferred. Our tariff for Cakes n Ale Cottage is $160 per night for 2 & $15 per night for each additional person. This includes all bed linen, quilts, pillows & bath towels.
Kings Den has the WOW factor. It is a huge luxury retreat just for adults. There is a king bed on a timber platform, 2 person spa bath, outdoor shower in a courtyard (& an indoor shower too), lounge area with TV, Video, DVD, CD player, a stunning kitchen including all utensils, appliances, crockery, cutlery & glassware. There’s a wood heater as well as reverse cycle air conditioning for heating & cooling if preferred. Kings Den is nestled amongst the trees, totally private with a great ambience & is something really very special. Our tariff for Kings Den is $190 per night for 2 including all bed linen, quilts, pillows & bath towels.
Keepers Lodge is a large, modern, mud brick holiday house on a separate 100 acre property close by. It has a couple of flexible set up options. The main part of the house has 2 bedrooms with a queen bed in one room, 2 singles & a bunk bed in another large bedroom & one bathroom. It has big kitchen including all utensils, appliances, crockery, cutlery & glassware, lounge with TV, DVD, CD player, wood heater, separate sunny dining area, paved outdoor area with BBQ & stunning views across the valley to Denmark. If you need more space, there is another bedroom with queen bed & 2nd bathroom accessed via an interconnecting door. The lodge is fully fenced & surrounded by a pretty cottage garden & small lawn area. There are friendly free ranging horses, goats, sheep & chickens roaming around the rest of the property making for a real country style getaway. Our tariff for Keepers Lodge is $150 per night for 2 & $15 per night for each additional person. You can add on the extra bedroom & bathroom for an additional $20 per night, therefore sleeping up to 8 in total. This includes all bed linen, quilts, pillows & bath towels.
Keepers Lodge Apartment can also be provided as a stand alone suite just for two with full kitchen facilities & private lounge area made available with access to the outdoor area & BBQ. (To protect your privacy we do not take bookings for Keepers Lodge whilst the apartment is being used unless you request it as part of a group booking.) Our tariff for Keepers Lodge Apartment is $135 per night for 2 including all bed linen, quilts, pillows & bath towels.
If you are celebrating a special occasion or just wanting a treat, you might like to add on our “Life’s Little Luxuries Package”. The package includes the use of fluffy bath robes, satin pillow cases, romantic music CD’s, aromatherapy oils plus chocolates, flowers & a breakfast provisions basket for 2 which includes cereal, home baked bread, yoghurt, juice, preserves, fresh ground plunger coffee & cook yourself ingredients (bacon, sausages, tomatoes, mushrooms & farm eggs), plus a few other seasonal treats. The package is an additional $40 for the first morning & $25 for additional 2 person breakfasts.
All cottages are fully equipped and have washing machines plus little extras like books, games, jigsaws, cards, picnic sets, fishing rods to rent & a small selection of DVD’s & videos for hire. We also provide a range of dining options from fresh home made pizzas & curries delivered hot to your door, breakfast baskets, cook yourself pasta or BBQ packs & packed lunches especially for walkers. Living on the property allows us to offer our guests personal service & we are always happy to assist with travel information or any other special requests you may have.
