The mining town was built roundabout 1930 as a copy of Carbona (=coal) in Italy. Until 1980 mining activity was going on here. Rasa lies at 30 minutes distance from Pula airport. At 5 km distance of your holiday home is the green town of Labin and at 10 km is the tourist bathing resort of Rabac.
The apartment is fully furnished for 5 persons. There are two spacious bedrooms with a large double bed each. In the cosy living-room, from where you have a breathtaking mountain view, stands a sleeping-couch. The beautiful kitchen has all possible comfort, with an oven, refrigerator and a kitchen-range. There's a bathroom with shower, toilet and bathtub. On the rear side of the house is a big garden and a patio. Furthermore the house has a balcomy on the front side, for you to enjoy the sun all day.
Labin is the centre of a green, wooded area. The landscape varies from steep rocky cliffs to undulating vineyards. This is an ideal area for people who enjoy nature and quiet. Rabac and Sveta Marina are lively coast resorts with plenty of opportunity for entertainment. Rabac has many hotels and terraces looking out on Kvarner bay. The high season brings a lot of tourists here. Istria is Europe's green heart and a favourite holiday area for lovers of nature, culture and sport. The mild climate enables recreation from May - October. During summer the average day temperature lies between 25 and 30 C°. This area has tracks for cycling- as well as horse-back riding. The hiker can walk or climb endlessly on a mountain ridge and enjoy the breathtaking view. The coast consists of pebble beaches and quiet hamlets for swimming and snorkling. The crystal-clear Adriatic with hundreds of little islands is a sailor's paradise. Below water-level the colourful marine flora and fauna will take your breath away.
