Kyrenia also known as Girne , is only 25 minutes away by car, this has one of, if not the best harbour in the mediterranean. Where you can amble through the cobbled streets, and explore the multitude of historical buildings. or just sit by the harbour overlooking the castle , sip wine, and watch the world go by.

The apartments are nestled in the old rural part of Northern Cyprus, and if you step outside of the modern complex, its like travelling back in time. Where you can see the way Cypriots work the land and reared their cattle for hundreds of years.

Travel
Closest airport is Ercan , this is approx 40 minutes drive from the apartments. Car hire strongly recommended, also we can advise on the best car hire firms.
You can also fly to the south of cyprus (Larnaca) this is a cheaper option , but you will need to get a taxi to the apartments, approx 90 minutes drive.

Distances
Esentepe is 10 minutes away where you can get all the provisions you may need as well as a small garage and internet cafe
Kyrenia is 25 minutes drive.And the magnificent Belapias abbey is about 25 minutes away , well worth a visit. Or head up into the mountains above Esentepe where you can picnic in the cooler climate of the pine forests.
Alagdi beach is 15 minutes away, this is where the turtles migrate and lay there eggs. Special guided tours can be arranged to witness this spectical.

Further details
There are numerous restaurants nearby, we provide an info folder in the apartments which list these. And ask guests, if they find something new , to add it to our info folder. so that future guests can share their experiences.

Booking notes
!0% deposit payable on booking and the balance 21 days prior to departure. Also a security cheque of £100 will be held against damages , which will be returned , as soon as the apartment has been checked

Fishing
The small harbour at Esentepe is only 5 minutes drive away, where you can charter a boat for fishing or just pleasure cruises. And if you are up early enough you can buy locally caught fish from the fishermen before it gets to market.

Scuba Diving
There are several scuba diving facilities near by. We can provide you with contact details .

Beach
Only 2 minute stroll to the beach , but there are so many secluded beaches to choose from , or there is the beach club at the Acapulco casino where you can sun bathe and swim in luxury, with sun beds and beach bar facilities available

Accessibility
To get to the penthouses , you need to go up 2 flights of stairs ,so not really suitable for wheel chair access.

Outside
Maintained gardens surround the complex, and the two swimming pools are cenral to the whole development.These pools are not heated and shared with the other residents on the complex.Pool furnitue is provided ,and within the apartment there are sun loungers , deck chairs and outside dining table and chairs for that private el fresco dining.
