The house is available for short term self catering holiday rentals / vacation rentals as well as longer term lets. The longere (or long house) itself consists of 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms and sits in nearly an acre of garden. The garden consists of lawned areas, an orchard, a BBQ area and wooded area. It has English TV (over 60 channels), English radio, sports equipment, DVD player and video. The cottage is ideal for two families offering spacious living accommodation for 8-10 people and a safe large private garden ideal for families and children.
La Ville Au Rasle is about 30 mins drive from St Malo on the northern coast of Brittany. Ferries arrive here from Portsmouth so if you decide to travel via this route it is a short easy drive to the house. Alternatively Roscoff, Le Harve, Caen and Dieppe are all within an easy drive giving you a choice of ferry routes. Alternativley you can now fly to Dinard via RyanAir and have a 35 minute drive to the house.
The location of the cottage makes it an ideal Brittany holiday destination, giving easy access to Dinan, Mont St Michel, Dinard, Josselin, St Cast and St Brieuc, all very popular tourist attractions in Brittany. Rennes (TGV to Paris and Euro Disney)is 20 minutes away, with its beautiful city of timber framed buildings and large shopping centres.
The cottage is only 30 mins away from Brittany's famous Emerald coast, with its glorious beaches and tiny coves, rich green farmlands, quaint little villages towns and mighty castles. There are dozens of uncrowded beautiful spacious beaches on the Northrn Brittany coast. The south coast of Brittany is only about 60 mins drive away where you will find more beaches and quaint little villages to explore. The famous Gulf Of Morbihan is easily reached.
If you fancy visting the Channel Islands then you get ferries from St Malo every day to Jersey, Guernsey and Alderney.
