This charming cottage has views over undulating farmland, and has granite walls and exposed oak beams. It is heated for the cooler months, so is ideal for that well earned holiday at any time of the year.
La Basse Rouerie is a traditional Breton farmhouse and Longere that dates back 600 years in parts. It has two and a half acres of gardens with open views over undulating farmland.
It is situated on the Brittany, Normandy border in France so you can explore both areas.
A perfect place for all the family to unwind, either by the pool or under a tree with a good book and a glass of wine.
The English owners Sandy & Barrie have converted the Longere into 4 cottages leaving in lots of the original features, like granite walls and exposed oak beams.
The cottages have been restored to provide modern conveniences whilst retaining all the charm of a typical French farmhouse. Pear tree is one of these cottages.
All the cottages are named after the fruit trees in the gardens.
Although La Basse Rouerie is in a quiet location it is only a few minutes from Mellé which has a bar-tabac-restaurant-store and only 5 mins to Louvigne du Desert with its shops and restaurants.
