Revel is also about 15 minutes and has a good range of shops plus traditional workshops featuring furniture restorers, skilled stone cutters, and most importantly, some excellent restaurants. Also, you must not miss the market of Revel on Saturdays - one of the best around.
You are also at the foothill of La Montagne Noire and its lakes ideal for bathing, windsurfing, canoeing and many other activities. From the house you can go on marked walks and discover the local wildlife, go horse riding or cycling.
More generally you are 1 hour away from the Mediterranean coastline and 1.5 hours from the Pyrenees, which you can see from the property.

Here you are in the heart of France and its traditional way of life. This property is privately situated in 90 hectares of private farming estate owned by a charming couple (Madame is English) who breed sheep, pigs and ducks with their own pond.
They make their own products such as foie gras, confit de canard and charcuterie - they taste better than any you have ever eaten before! They are proud of their work and, only if you are interested, will be delighted to show guests around their estate.
