The farmhouse is perfectly based for exploring the wonderful Loire Valley as well as being only half an hour south of Le Mans and the famous 24 hour race.
Accommodation is a spacious building which can sleep up to 12 people, plus cots. The layout makes it particularly suited to 2 families or housing teenagers separately, giving them their own area on the opposite side of the property.
Your holiday home is also just under an hour north of Tours, where daily flights to London Stanstead make for easy travel.
The old farmhouse contains a large French dining kitchen, very much the heart of the house, with a Godin cooker, wood burning fire and fabulous indoor barbecue. Off the main room is a back kitchen with modern appliances and a wet room with shower basin and WC.
There is a long hall with plenty of storage and a sitting room with TV, Video and a DVD player. A carved stone staircase rises to the second floor with a mezzanine study area and a door leading to the first sleeping area.
This comprises of a characterful bedroom with a king sized bed and a WC, as well as a stunning bathroom with a corner bath and twin sinks. There is also a long hall with 2 single sofa beds.
The second sleeping area is through a door from the sitting area. This leads to the part of the house converted from the stable block. The downstairs rooms comprise of an area with a double sofa bed and a large childrens bedroom containing 2 sets of full sized bunk beds.
Downstairs also houses a superb shower room with hand carved stone tiling and a separate WC. A second carved stone staircase rises to a large mezzanine level bedroom with a king sized bed and room for cots.
