Le Clozet is situated in the department of the Gers in south west France, halfway between Agen and Condom. Whilst nestling in the peaceful countryside of Gascony it is still easily accessible by air, road & rail.
By Car-600 miles/1000kms from Calais, 10 hours driving via fast and mainly traffic free autoroutes.
By Train-Eurostar from London to Paris, TGV from Paris to Agen. Total journey time 8-9 hours. Car hire available at Agen station.
By Air All major airlines fly the region, BA, Easyjet.

Walibi Water Fun Park – near to Agen. This a great family day out. Full of rides and activities for all ages, even scary ones. bars and restaurants on-site. Not cheap but families benefit from a good group reduction.

The Art Course is hosted by local artist, Sylvia Burrows.
This short course is designed to encourage beginners to confidently express their creative ideas and to inspire those who feel the need for a new direction in their art.
A series of light hearted exercises will offer interesting and alternative ways for you to create works of art that are uniquely yours.
Each morning there will be an informal, illustrated talk followed by demonstrations, “hands on” sessions and time to discuss and exchange ideas.Afternoons are free for independent work, either using the morning’s subject as inspiration or to pursue your own imaginative inclination. The peaceful village of Pouy Roquelaure is an artist’s dream. It’s quality of light, ancient buildings and rolling landscape will certainly inspire you. Sylvia will always be on hand to work with you on a one to one basis.

Changeover day
All changeover days in high season are Saturday to Saturday.
Part weeks or single days can be arranged during low season.
A cleaning charge of 75 euros will be made at the end of each let.
Golf
Golf clubs - 4 courses within 15 - 45 mins, nearest being the well rated Golf de Fleurance which is built around an 18c Gasconne house. Many natural obstructions such as streams, lakes, trees and valleys, and dotted with numerous bunkers. Classed as a 9+9 with many different re-start points, it gives the impression of being a real 18 hole course. Classed as the ninth best 9 hole in France. Due to the wonderful Gers climate it is open all year. It also has a good restaurant with special golfers menus starting at 10 euros. Other courses are Gold Club de Guinlet near Eauze; the 18-hole Golf d'Auch-Embats which also has a good restaurant. The 9 hole Golf de la Martines near L’Isles Jourdain, The 9+9 Golf de Gascogne near Massaube and the 9+9 Golf du Chateau de Pallane at Tissac.

Guests can relax around our large 12m x 6m swimming pool taking in the magnificent panoramic views of the surrounding countryside whilst sipping a cool drink from our honesty bar. On a clear day guests can also see the spectacular mountains of the Pyrenees, only a two hour drive away.
Our grounds have many mature oak and walnut trees offering welcoming shade from the Gascon sun. The Gers benefits from nine months of sunshine each year.
