Le Fournil is one of five beautifully renovated gites and it can provide self-catering accommodation for up to 12 people. This gite is accessible to wheelchair users,with drive in showers, extra wide doors, support bars, lateral access to toilets, and no steps.
Gite le Fournil is the renovated bakery of the small hamlet of la Hamberie. The original fireplace has been retained in a lovely lounge which leads directly on to the private patio and garden. This gite has four bedrooms, a kitchen and a separate dining room. The gite is fully wheelchair accessible having two bedrooms on the ground floor. The gite is in the heart of the farm and overlooks the central green. For larger groups, gite le Fournil can also be hired together with any of the other gites on the farm.
There is one en-suite double bedrooms and one en-suite twin bedroom. Each of these can accommodate a third bed. There are two further twin bedrooms, both of which are on the ground floor and are fully wheelchair accessible. There is a separate toilet and shower room also on the ground floor. The kitchen is equipped with a washing machine, dishwasher, microwave, cooker, fridge-freezer, coffee maker, toaster, kettle, iron, and all cutlery and crockery needed. The separate dining room is overlooked from the minstrel gallery supported by the original oak beams. Garden furniture and BBQ are also provided. Le Fournil has full gas fired central heating.
The solar heated swimming pool is open from April to September and complies with the latest safety legislation. The large play barn, together with its library and toy library, provides a shelter from the sun and occasional rain!
All Gites have private patio and garden with garden furniture, BBQ and private parking. Pillows and duvets are provided. Bed linen can be hired at £8 per person per week. Towels are not included, but for those travelling by air, towels can be hired at £2 per person per week if required. A welcome pack of a variety of essentials including bread, butter, milk, wine and camembert cheese is provided. A small amount of sugar, tea and coffee are also provided to ease your arrival.
