It provides a relaxed setting, yet within easy reach of Futuroscope, Cognac, Bordeaux, La Rochelle, Saintes, Ile d'Oleron, Limoges, La Palmyre Zoo and the beaches of Royan. The property is near the other gite La Menuiserie and the owners home, and has been tastefully converted to include modern facilities, yet retain character features.The living accommodation comprises of open–plan lounge/dining/kitchen area, with colourful middle-eastern style scatter rugs and a wood burner for cosy winter evenings. Comfortable two-seater settees, oak dining table and chairs, well equipped kitchen area with gas cooker, fridge and microwave. There are two bedrooms, both on the ground floor a heavy duty pine double bed with Arabian style drapes in one, the other double bed with brass fittings and a fold-up single bed is available on request. The shower room has a mosaic floor, large tiled shower, bidet and wash hand basin, adjoining a separate toilet. There is an above ground circular splash pool in the garden, which is divided by trees and shrubs giving both sunny and shady relaxation areas. Bed linen is provided and wine and flowers await you on arrival.
