About Port Grimaud :
There are two sandy beaches in Port Grimaud, both 5 min walk from the house on both sides of the Port entry. The largest one offers facilities like beach restaurants, swimming pool, water sports etc. You have two tennis court in Port Grimaud. The area also offers golf courses and horse riding as well as aqua parks for the children. It is possible to hire bikecycles in Port Grimaud (we enclose the address and phone) and skate rollers are welcome.
Port Grimaud is an excellent base to explore the beautiful surrounding countryside with its pine, chestnut and cork trees, perched villages and vineyards, there are quantities of nice bikecycling roads all around. From Port Grimaud starts a small road train that brings you in 20 min through the vineyards to Grimaud Village , a very lovely ancestral village with its feodal castle and their small shadowed and calm streets.

Boat rentals can be arranged. If you have no boat, there is always the 'coche d'eau' a kind of water bus that stops just behind the house and brings you to the center of the city. Once a week, on the village place, you will not miss the Provencal market.
Port Grimaud is a very quaint Provencal village located in the gulf of St. Tropez, on the western side of the Cote d'Azur. It is ten kilometers from the town of St. Tropez. A swimming beach is only 1 km away. The town of Port Grimaud has restaurants to suit every palate and attractive boutique shops.
Relax in comfort at this three bedroom attached home ideal for four adults and two children. The ground floor of this home has the kitchen, living and dining area. The living room has a couch. There is also a fireplace and circular dining table. The kitchen contains stove, oven, refrigerator and dishwasher. A clothes washer is also available. The living area has French doors opening onto a small patio ideal to eat outside and enjoy the views of the boats and canal.
On the first floor, there is two bedrooms with queen size beds and view on the canal single and a full bath. The third bedroom with queen size bed is on the second floor and has a balcony with view of the canal. A second full bath is on this level. Definitely a comfortable house in a picturesque village, with the nice option of renting a boat and sail out to sea at leisure.
Generally cars are not permitted to be left outside the properties for any long period but should only be used for loading/unloading and then parked in the nearby parking space on your reserved place. Port Grimaud offers many bars, restaurants, businesses, doctors, pharmacy and once a week a Provencal market. A waterbus service operates along the canals of Port Grimaud. A stop is near the house and the waterbus can bring you to the centers of Port Grimaud. Of course if you have your own boat you can navigate through the canals all around Port Grimaud and park your boat at the pontoon at end of your terrace. If you want to hire a boat for one day or the period of your holidays, their are plenty of boat charters in Port Grimaud. We can help you for your reservation.
Amenities:
Living and dining room includes table, chairs, 2 sofas, TV Video, Nintendo games, radio CD and telephone. Kitchen is fully equipped. On the first floor one double room, one room with 4 single beds and one bathroom with washing machine, separate toilet. On the second floor, one double room with private terrace, bathroom with toilet. All the bedrooms have beside tables, lamps, fitted wardrobes rugs and lovely views. A package of bed linen, towels, etc.. can be arranged for 15 Euro per person. If you are hiring bedlinen, beds will be made before your arrival.
There are some time traffic problems to reach St Tropez by car but this is mainly during summer time, in July and August. With bicycle it will take you 20 min to reach Ste Maxime or St Tropez. It is also possible to take a boat from Port Grimaud to St Tropez or Ste Maxime. This public boat stops in Port Grimaud harbour and cross the Gulf in 15 min to the harbour of St Tropez or Ste Maxime. If you have your own boat or hired a boat, it is very easy to reach St Tropez or Ste Maxime in 10 min from your terrace.
