The house consists of a large south facing sitting room, dining room, well-equipped kitchen, 3 double bedrooms and a family bathroom. The Chemin de la Coronne is situated on the outskirts of Valreas, a typical Provencal town in the Enclave des Papes; there are many cafes, restaurants, brocantes, a market, and lots of leisure activities in the area. Also there are several Fetes’ during the year including the famous Fete of Petit St. Jean.
Nearby is the Cote du Rhone wine trail taking you to villages such as Seguret, Gigondas and Vacqueyras where you can taste the local wines. The town of Valreas is well known for its international boules championships. Second only to Richerenches, Valreas is famous for it’s truffles. Also just a stones throw from the town of Nyons, which is renowned for its olives, olive oil, lavender and mild climate. At Vaison la Romaine you will find splendid examples of fine Roman architecture, both towns have weekly markets that should not be missed.
Finally you are just a short distance from the cultural centres of Orange and Avignon.
Valreas is 25mins. drive from the A7, (the main autoroute south), taking the turn off at Montelimar Sud.
Alternatively we are just 70 mins. from Nimes Airport, 90 mins. from Montpellier Airport and 80 mins. from Marseille Airport, all have daily flights.
There are TGV stations at Avignon and Montelimar.
