The large and Luxurious Demeure de Jeanne Bastide offers an 180° panoramique seaview, a magnificent tropical garden in which the 16x7 meters oval pool lays on.A 120m2 living room and a 35m2 dining room give plenty space for the guests to relax and dine when the table d'Hotes is offered during the low season months.
All suites and rooms have a comfortable sleeeping area of 23m2. All the 3 rooms in the second floor have a private terrace and/or balcony facing the pool, the garden, the landscape and the mediterranean sea from Nice to the Esterel mountains.
The white Cat junior Suite (40m2)features a dressingroom, a very large bathroom with separate shower and bathtub and a bedroom with a 1.80m king size bed and a corner living room. A balcony and a private terrace allows you to enjoy the magnificent panorama down to the mediterranean sea.
The green Cat Suite (40m2) features a 23m2 bedroom with a 1m60 bed and a corner living room; an office room with a 1m40 sofa-bed; and a large shower room. This suite has also a similar private balcony and terrace as the White Cat junior suite.
The Yellow Cat room with its 23m2 bedroom also has a private bacony facing the sea.It features corner living room and a 1m80 king size bed that can be dissociated into 2 0m90 beds.
The Blue cat Junior Suite (32m2) offers a nice complete bathroom and a beautiful well decorated room featuring a 1m60 bed and a corner living room. This mini-suite is located on the first floor nearby the fireplace of the living room.
The 120m2 living room is divided in various setting such as a library, a summer living space and a winter living space around the monumental fireplace.The separate dining room allows 12guests to sit very comfortably at diner. The dining room and the living room are facing the swimming pool and the garden.
Outside and in the continuation of the House Kitchen you will enjoy a large poolhouse overlooking the pool and the garden and facing the sea. The summer semi-professional kitchen, the BBQ, the Bar and the summer dining area are Yolande's place. It is there that she will prepare the evening meals for you to appreciate in front of the illuminated swimming pool, tropical garden and one of the the oldest olive trees of Tourrettes sur Loup. The one nearby the poolhouse is nearly 700 years old.
Every morning your host Yolande will cook for you various pastries, brioches, cakes, chocolate risotto etc.
and will offer different other dishes such as farm cheeses, salami, crude ham etc...Most everything you will taste is homemade such as Jam, clafoutis....
Diners at La Table d'Hôtes (2 times a week) is also prepared by Yolande an ex professional Cheftaine having had in the past her own restaurant and having performed in several Michelin one and two stars restaurants. Only wild fishes, labelized meat and poultries areselected to prepare the meals.Selected wines from France various regions and most frequentlt wines from this region are served .
Around the Bastide, you will find plenty activities.
We are only 900 meters from Tourrettes sur loup village, 6 Kms from St paul de Vence and half hour from Cannes, Monaco, Nice etc...
You can if you like ,play golf, ride a bycicle, shop in the various malls around. visit world famous Museums such as Renoir, Chagall , Matisse, Escofier, Picasso, Fernand Leger
Matisse, Picasso, Fondation Maeght, Lescofier, Fernand Leger etc.. . Monaco and its unique Aquarium is a must. All the various villages around have a weekly local market. Tourrettes sur Loup on Wednesday, Valbonne on Friday etc.. Antique markets are very attractive such as in La Colle sur loup, Antibes, Valbonne,Vence and every Monday in the Vieux Nice.
