This spectacular and beautiful area is protected and hence hasn’t been spoilt by tourism. Samoens has been awarded a ‘Coq d’Or’ for being one of the prettiest villages in France and is the only ski resort classified by the Caisse des Monuments Historiques. The area is full of character and charm with stonemasonary and farming at the heart, yet still provides the centre for almost every outdoor activity imaginable.
Based in the stunning valley of the Giffre river, the area provides spectacular scenery including mountain lakes, national parks and botanical gardens plus amazing wildlife. Just minutes up the road at Sixt Fer a Cheval are over a dozen enormous waterfalls. It has a great deal to offer for families and individuals of all ages seeking adventure or alternatively, just sheer relaxation.

Sleeping up to 6 people, this apartment is set within an 18th century building which has recently been restored resulting in the apartment being completely refitted and has new and quality furnishings throughout. Full of character and charm with luxurious touches it is also extremely spacious with views across the square and mountains beyond. The building called Les Tilleuls is in a fabulous location right in the heart of Samoens, with boutiques, cafes, supermarkets and restaurants right on the doorstep. There are games, books and a good selection of DVD's. There is also a separate shower room with large basin, WC heated towel rail and hairdryer. The apartment offers under floor heating throughout and there is an iron and ironing board supplied.
In winter the apartment is 130m from the ski bus stop which takes just 1 minute to travel the 500m to the main Grand Massif Express ski lift
There are 2 bedrooms, one of which is a double with ensuite bathroom with a full size bath with shower over and the 2nd is a twin/double
