Here you can enjoy the peace and quiet and the unspoilt nature. The area is especially suitable for cyclists because of the many newly constructed cycle paths. There is a real challenge in the mountainous Mecklenburger Schweiz. The cyclist who is keener on having relaxed cycling tour and enjoying the scenery, is at the right place alongside the beautiful lakes. The same goes for foot paths. You can swim in one of the many lakes in the area. There is a large playground in the courtyard where children can play to their heart’s content. Various water sports are possible on either the Mürotz or the Fleesensee. Do also visit castles and fortresses in the area. Ideas for daytrips: It only takes about 2 hours to get to Berlin and Hamburg and you can get to Rostock, Güstrow and Schwerin in about 1 hour.

The with love restored Gutshof (farmhouse) Blücherhof in neo-baroque style, is positioned in the heart of Mecklenburg’s Lake District. It is bounded by the magnificent, sloped landscape of nature park Nossentiner/Schwinzer Heide and the Mecklenburg Schweiz. The holiday home is positioned in the old Gutshof tavern. The Gutshof has a famous and beautiful garden full of trees, where one can learn of several trees. This garden was laid out by the famous botanist, called Prof. Alexander König. In the house are a sauna, pool- and tennis table. Bicycles and rowing boats can be rented. Bar Dubenhus has recently opened in the courtyard, so spoil yourself with coffee and cake or a delicious breakfast. There is a ‘nature’ playground for the kids.
