The Puglia region on the heel of Italy is totally unspoilt with some of the best and cleanest beaches in Europe. During June and August the Italians migrate to this area for their holidays. During the rest of the year the area is a quiet, rural community to be enjoyed for its’ natural beauty and easy pace of life.
This part of Italy is the place being universally acclaimed by the likes of Rick Stein and Jamie Oliver for its wonderful food and wine.
Puglia is a food and wine lover’s paradise. A huge proportion of Italy’s fish is caught off the Apulian coast, 70% of the country’s olive oil is produced here and the region provides 80% of Europe’s pasta. Fish and seafood are abundant and better priced than in other parts of Italy and many excellent and inexpensive quality wines are produced here.
The south of Italy is a pleasant place to visit at any time. During the summer months temperatures can reach 40˚C plus and you will find all bars and restaurants open well into the early hours of the morning with street markets open until 1.00am.
The East coast consists of beautiful white sandy beaches and the West side (only 20 minutes away) is rugged cliff tops and beautiful scenery. You will find many shops, restaurants and bars open all along the coastal road. The major towns of Santa Maria de Leuca (10 minutes away) and Gallipoli (15 minutes away) are open all year round.

Lido Marini is a small, quiet, natural, area with beautiful white sandy beaches and shallow blue sea, great for swimming and safe for children. The local people are extremely warm and welcoming.

This fully furnished apartment has a large double bedroom configured for single or double occupancy, and a twin bedroom with a spiral staircase leading to a private flat roof area overlooking the sea.
Both bedrooms can be configured for one double bed or two single beds - just let us know your requirements when booking.
If you have a large family or group of friends the whole Villa can be rented out sleeping a miximum of 10 people.
All linen and bathroom towels provided, Guests are asked to take their own beach towels.
Located on a quiet road near the sea and walking distance of the shops of Lido Marini Secure parking spaces available directly outside the Villa.
Restaurants and shops all within easy walking distance in season. We have an English speaking representative on hand to help with questions or emergencies. Car hire delivered to your doorstep can be arranged. Airports transfers can be arranged for a small additional charge of 50 euros each way.

As you go up to the upstairs apartment you can see the sea from the front balcony. Inside is equipped with two Double or twin bedrooms - (please state your preference when booking)- both rooms have double doors to a small rear balcony.
One room also has a spiral staircase leading to a totally unoverlooked roof area with a 360 degree view of Lido Marini’s beach to the front and the countryside behind you.
There is a spacious Lounge with TV, DVD, CD/Radio, a Sofa bed (Sleeping an additional Two), an extending Dining table and 6 chairs, a new Kitchen with fridge/freezer, gas hob, electric oven, and a central tiled Bathroom with bath/shower, toilet, bidet, and sink

Ryanair fly Brindisi Airport from the UK via www.ryanair.com. We have found you get a better hire car rate for Hertz through the Ryanair website. The apartment is easily reached through a direct drive from the airport via mostly dual carriageway and will take a maximum of an hour. If you prefer Airport transfers can be arranged together with local car hire, delivered to your doorstep.
