Casa Violetta is situated on the hills overlooking Pescia; it is under an hour's drive to Florence in one direction and Pisa, with its International airport, in the other direction. Close by is the historic walled town of Lucca and the fascinating area known as Svizzera Pesciatina (Pescia's Switzerland), so named by Sismondi because of its resemblance to his home country.

Casa Violetta is a classy hilltop villa nestled amongst olive groves and chestnut forests near the town of Pescia. It sleeps up to 10 persons and has five bedrooms, four bathrooms and its own swimming pool with outstanding views.

Type	Description
Bedrooms:	The three double bedrooms all have en suite bathrooms; one is located on the ground floor whilst the other two are on the first floor. The twin bedded room (overlooking the swimming pool) has an en suite wash hand basin and uses the family bathroom opposite. the bunk bedroom (two full size single beds) is mext to the family bathroom.
Bathrooms:	Each double bedroom has its own en suite bathroom with shower. In addition there is a family bathroom with bath and shower over.
Kitchen:	The kitchen is large and overlooks the valley below. All units are modern and include 5 ring gas hob, microwave oven, electric fan assisted oven, dishwasher and large American style refridgerator / freezer
Living Rooms:	Next to the kitchen is a large dining room with table and chairs and door leading to the patio. The lounge, also leading off the kitchen, has leather sofa and a 32" Tv with Sky UK.
Cleaning/towels/linen/maid Service:	Casa Violetta is let with all linen supplies (sheets, pillow cases, towels, pool towels, tea towels) which are replaced weekly. The cost includes the final clean at the end of your stay
Utility room:	The utility room on the ground floor has a Bosch washing machine and sink.
Sleeping capacity:	3 x double bedrooms, 1 x twin bedroom, 1 x bunk bedroom

Notes on accommodation:
Outside is a pizza oven, with wood supplied, for the use of our guests.

Travel
Nearest International airport is Pisa which is about 55 minutes frive. Also close by is Florence airport.

Distances
The nearest village is Uzzano (3km) and the nearest twon is Perscia (5 km). Florence, Pisa, Siena are all close by and about an hour's drive.

Further details
Pescia is the nearest town a friendly market town with banks, shops, restaurants and a hospital. The river Pescia flows through the middle and gave rise to the importance of Pescia as a paper making centre. Pescia is now known for its flowers which are exported throughout Europe and beyond.

Booking notes
Bookings are confirmed with a 30% deposit with the balance being paid 6 weeks before the holiday commences. On arrival we require a deposit of €500 in cash which we will return at the end of the stay subject to deductions for breakages, damage, unusual cleaning, etc.

Changeover day
Our changeover day is Friday allowing our visitors to take advantage of cheaper flights and to enjoy the lively market in Pescia on Saturday.

Wine Tasting
From Casa Violetta you can follow the Wine Trail the roams through this part of Tuscany

Accessibility
The house is not suitable for persons with mobility probles as there are steps everywhere (because the house is built on a hillside).

Outside
Outside is a barbecue (we supply the first bag of charcoal) and a pizza oven (we supply the wood) both very close to the house and with spectacular views over the valley below. Adjacent to the house is the swimming pool (5m x 10m) set in lawned gardens, again with a stunning view,
