We have chosen not to change our house in a "Villa": it simply is a calm, secluded, old farmhouse, where it is nice to stay and relax. The property is set in a 3 hectares terraced ground, with olive trees, saffron cultivations and woods. There is a private above-groung swimming pool amidst the olive ground, with a beautiful view of the surrounding hills, sun loungers and warm shower.
The separate stone BARN is in front of the farm main building. With its brick pavements and wood beamed ceiling it is absolutely comfortable for 2 and has a sofa bed (two single) for 2 additional guests.It has a cosy bedroom with doule bed and a big living room with sofa, table and well equipped kitchenette opening on the main yard. Garden furniture outside and big sun umbrellas.
The STUDIO is at the ground floor of the main building, perfect for 2. One big room with traditional concrete and brick pavement, wood beamed ceiling, double bed in an alcove, living-dining area with table and sofa, kitchenette, and bathroom. The apartment opens on a small 'loggia' and on the country, with garden furniture shadowed by a tree.
Children are absolutely welcome but the smallest may need supervison, specially outside (rustic garden with slopes).
The farm has a rustic garden with Mediterranean herbs and and a collection of old and modern roses.
Barbecue, sun beds, and above ground swimming pool (diameter m. 4.5) open in season.
All the main artistic towns of Central Italy are within a daily trip from the house, while the area is rich of artistic treasures of Reinassance painting (Singorelli, Perugino), Etruscan and prehistoric archeological sites, and Medieval and Renaissance villages.

Our rose collection is flowering in May/June while we pick, select and dry saffron from mid-October to mid-November. The spice is made of the dried stigmas of the saffron violet flower (Crocus Sativus), picked still close every morning during the flowering period, separated from the petals during the same day and immediately dried on the gentle heat of a Franklin stove.
