Marsalforn,once a small fishing village, has now evolved into the main tourist resort of the island. It is at its peak during the summer school holidays where due to its open layout, and being the most northbound bay of the island many Maltese & Gozitans migrate here for its cool summer breeze in their summer residences. With its sandy beaches and rocky diving spots it is an ideal place to satisfy all tastes. In the evening it transforms into a meeting place where many people love to meet, talk and walk the promenade or dine al fresco in one of the seaside restaurants. As for me, the owner of Abacus Apartments and an all year resident of Marsalforn, I love the tranquility of the winter months, where one can enjoy walking through the hilly country side near by which is covered in a carpet of velvety greens, yellows and reds according to season.

Travel
Malta International Airport is only a 1 hour direct bus drive away from Cirkewwa harbor. Ferry is a 25 minute crossing, bus to Victoria is 10 minutes, bus to Marsalforn is 8 minutes. Airport transfers for late arrivals, no waiting and also off season as busses are not that frequent is possilble at an extra fee.

Distances
Marsalforn is only a 10 minute drive from Victoria the capital and the villages of Zebbug and Xaghra. The apartment is only down some 30 steps,and across a little street from the seafront and center of the bay hardly a minute walk in all.

Further details
Restaurants, bars, internet are only a minute walk away. Dive shops, car/bike hire, bank atm, bus station, mini market, chemist and my residence are aproximatly a 2 to 3 minute walk away. Salt pans are a 30 minute walk.

Booking notes
A deposit of EUR100.00 is required and the rest of payment is to be made on check in. Deposit can be paid by Visa/Master cards or by swift transfers.

Changeover day
Check in is at 12.00 hrs and check out is at 10.00 hrs.

Scuba Diving
Scuba Diving is available from several outlets. Water is very clear and visibility is very good.

Beach
Beach is hardly a minute walk away. With its sandy, pebbley beaches and rocky diving spots it is an ideal place to satisfy all tastes.
