We live in a sub-tropical region; the countryside is very green and lush. Our closest beach is just over 20 minutes drive away where the sand is white and as soft as talcuum powder. We are 15 minutes drive from Whangarei Town. We live 5 minutes from a village where there is the local school, 2 very pretty white wooden churches, lots of stone walls, a rugby club where dinner is served twice a week along with a very well equipped petrol station. There is a monthly market and lots of activities and social events in the area.

Throughout the year we can arrange various trips e.g. Marae stay, Rodeo trip, experience an A&P Show, horse riding on the beach, boat trips, snorkelling at Poor Knights Island, you can even try your hand at possum shooting. Have a few beers and award winning New Zealand glasses of wine on our deck with panoramic views of undulating countryside.

We have three children aged 10, 8 and 6. The house is noisy, vibrant and full of life. We have been host to lots of families from all over the world and really look forward to showing you our beautiful country and culture.
