Arrangements can be made to collect your car on arrival at Faro Airport, whatever the time of day or night. It is necessary to pay the full rental fee in Euro when you pick up the car.

General Information
Prices are given in Euro for the occupancy of up to 4 people. The price includes electricity (heating), Gaz, Water and weekly change of bed sheets and towels. Please bring your own towels for use at the beach. The final cleaning is being charged with Euro 55. Per booking.
A baby cot can be supplied if wished for.
Booking notes
Prices are for the property for a max. occupancy of 4 people, givne in Euro. It can also be paid in GBP, either by cheque or banktransfer.
A deposit of 30% is required in order ot reserve the apartment, the balance is due 6 weeks prior to the holiday. Full details regading keys, waydescription etc. will be given when the downpayment has been paid.
Changeover day
Changeover Day is prefably the Saturday, other arrangements can be made upon request.
Arrival time is 15h and deaparture time is 10h.
Golf
Within a radius of 40 km there are all in all sixteen golf courses to choose from, even more if going across the Spanish border to Ilha Christina near the Spanish border town of Ayamonte.
Interest in the eastern Algarve has grown with the opening of two premium golf at Quinata da Ria and Quinta da Cima, only 6 km to the west from the apartment. For those we can offer a special reduced greenfee of Euro 350 for 5 days for example. Also newly opened are the 5 Star Golf courses from Monte Rei and Quinta do Vale. Another beautiful golf course is in Castro Marim on the banks of the Guadiana river further towards the most eastern part of the Algarve. Driving approx. 60km towards the west you find splendid Golf courses in Vilamoura and in Quinta do Largo.
About 2 miles east of Tavira you find the Benamour Golf Course, lying opposite the new developed residential area of Conceicao in quiet surroundings neighbouring the fishing village Cabanas.
Another small inland 9 hole golf course, Colina Verde (with it’s own putting green and chipping area) lies in Maragota near Moncarapacho, about 7 km away from Tavira between the coast and the Algarvian mountain range.
Fishing
It is possible to search for clams in the low tide and of course do some fishing when the tide is up.

Beach
Superb sandy beaches are within easy reach, all have EEC Blue Flag for cleanliness and pollution free water.
Praia Lota beach – this is the beach in the front of the apartment which leads to the beach of Altura, Praia Verde und Retur to the left and to the beach of Manta Rota and Cabanas, Tavira etc. to the right.
Conceição and Cabanas – it is also an extensive and calm beach and can be reached by boat from the village of Cabanas.
The part of coast by Tavira belongs to the Parque Natural da Ria Formosa. It is consisting of dunes and a lagoon complex, which is known as Ilha da Tavira and runs along the coast. It is a paradise for bird watching.
Tavira Island Beach on the Ilha da Tavira, can be reached by a short ferry ride which leaves 5 minutes (by foot through the historic town centre) away from the apartment. On the beach there are cafés, bars and restaurants, serving anything from sandwiches to regional dishes and shellfish delicacies.
Facilities include sailing, windsurfing, pedaloes and parasols. Even in August this magnificient beach is relatively uncrowded.
Barril Beach – children love the miniature railway that shuttles back and forth across the nature reserve to the beach of Barril. Thee is a good self service restaurant and bar on the beach as well as attractive cafés. Beach, BBQs and dancing once a week. Facilities include tennis, windsurfing, beach volleyball, pedaloes. A few minutes to either direction you will find miles of beautiful, peaceful, dune fringed beaches.
Praia Estretto by Santa Luzia - A vast beach that offers hours of solitude, coupled with the pleasure of warm, clear waters. A boat from Santa Luzia takes you across.
The Islands - Fuzeta and Armona are the islands situated close to Olhao and that can be quickly reached by boats that make regular trips, specially during Summer.
They are long bars of fine sand and warm waters which offer both peace and quiet, in the less visited zones, and more exciting water activities: canoeing, windsurf, sailing and diving are backed by excellent local services. Lying within the limits of the Natural Park of Ria Formosa, these islands offer the best natural conditions to practice such activities, and Olhão is therefore one of the most visited towns of the Algarve, offering in addition to the daily market by the sea a big market on Saturdays where lot’s of portuguese sell their homemade products.

The spacious pool is just outside on the other side of the street, being used only by about 10 property owners of the apartment complex.
