This spacious apartment is located on the entire first floor of a "listed" period former mansion house, with views over Loch Lomond. With private front door entrance the apartment enjoys panoramic views over Loch Lomond, Scotland's best known and largest loch. Close by, the popular West Highland Walkway passes through the village as it weaves its way towards Fort William. Seven miles along the Lochside, Ben Lomond awaits. With magnificent scenery and opportunities for a wide range of outdoor activity, a wealth of history, scenic villages and ancient castles all within easy reach, this is an ideal all year holiday location.The house is fronted by a lawn and equipment and furniture for barbecues is provided

Bedrooms:	4 bedrooms -- one large master bedroom - double bed with en-suite bath,basin & toilet -- one large double bedroom -- one bedroom with 3 single beds. -- one bedroom with single bed off the master bedroom.
Bathrooms:	Family bathroom with bath, basin, shower cabinet and toilet. Ensuite Bathroom with bath, basin and toilet
Kitchen:	The kitchen is fully equipped with an oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, dryer.
Living Rooms:	The lounge is spacious with open views to the south over Loch Lomond. The floor is the original, sanded pitch pine wooden floor. The large dining room is connected to the kitchen, to the lounge and to the first floor landing. It has a large pine dining table that can comfortably seat 8 people.
Cleaning/towels/linen/maid Service:	Duvets and pillows provided free of charge. Bed linen and towels provided. Up to two dogs welcome at a charge of £16 per dog per week.
Utility room:	The stairs are made of beautiful pitch pine and sweep up from the original entrance hall of Montrose House. It is a private entrance to the apartment. There is ample space in the ground-level hallway for boots, jackets, prams, bicycles, etc.
Other:	ACILITIES Full electric central heating (Electricity by £5 to £15 card meter. We provide you with the first £5 token free). The electric heating has just been installed and is therefore very modern and efficient. Parking for 3 cars. Cot. Highchair. Colour TV, DVD player & video. Washing machine / Drier. Dishwasher. Fridge / Freezer. Microwave. Hair dryer. Childrens games. Video films. Duvets and pillows provided free of charge. Bed linen and towels provided. Up to two dogs welcome at a charge of £16 per dog per week. There are e-mail and internet facilities in the local library in Drymen (10 minutes by car). From Visit scotland Website: From the bonnie banks of Loch Lomond, the famous loch which fall within the boundaries of Loch Lomond and The Trossachs National Park, to Helensburgh’s elegant promenades and the shipping heritage of the Clyde, celebrated throughout West Dunbartonshire, there is quite literally something to please every visitor.
Loch Lomond has long been immortalised in lyric verse and song. The single biggest expanse of inland water in the British Isles, Loch Lomond brings together two very different Scotlands.

Broad, island-dotted shallows in the south gradually narrowing and steepening into the mountains of the aptly named “Arrochar Alps” dominated by the Cobbler in the West and mighty Ben Lomond to the East.

The sheltered harbour at Balmaha is the ideal starting point for sailing and water-sports, while the championship golf course at Loch Lomond Golf Club regularly attracts household names to world class golfing tournaments. Walking and hiking enthusiasts are amply catered for.

A gentle stroll through the Balloch Castle Country Park or Queen Elizabeth Forest Park will lead you past charming lochside villages and sandy bays. For the adventurous, the mountains to the north offer more strenuous walks and climbs.

A provisional reservation can be held on request for up to 7 days. Thereafter a non-returnable deposit of 20% is payable with the balance due at least 4 weeks prior to arrival.
