Cutlars Lodge is the perfect base for exploring Dumfries and Galloway. With more than 200 miles of coastline, majestic wild mountains and moorlands, Dumfries and Galloway has unspoilt countryside & a natural environment perfect for taking it easy or enjoying the great outdoors.
Dumfries and Galloway is the gateway to Scotland, just over the border from England at Gretna Green. Glasgow and Edinburgh are only two hours drive away. Its so easy to reach and so difficult to leave!
Cutlars Lodge comfortably houses six guests, making it ideal for families or small groups of friends. It has its own unique cosiness, which brings people back here time after time. The garden at Cutlars Lodge is fully enclosed, making it safe for children and dogs to play in. With its own garden furniture and BBQ, you can enjoy the garden and sea views to the full.
The cottage is only a 15-minute walk away from Orrolands private rocky shoreline. The walk winds down a steep slope through ancient woodland to the seashore below. There is driftwood to collect and rockpools to explore.
There is ample off-road parking and also a one-car garage. The cottage also has oil-fired central heating throughout and cosy log fires in both the dining room and sitting room. We always provide guests with a good supply of logs.
Coming to Orroland is a unique experience good for the soul. Few places can match it for privacy, atmosphere and dramatic location, set in the heart of one of the last undiscovered areas of the country.
Notes on price:
The rates shown are for rent of the cottage for one night, not per person. However the cottage is usually only available for weekly lets, although Short Breaks are available at certain times of the year.
