It is completely non smoking . In the garden is the remnant of the 400 year old Corstorphine Sycamore tree (now sprouting again) while next door is the 17th century Dovecot. Nearby is the historic Kirk. The house is centrally heated for when it is cold and each room has in it tea and coffee making facilities, a hairdryer, a television and a radio.
Parking is free and unrestricted and Corstorphine is very well supplied with buses to all the Tourist sites (Princes Street, Castle, Royal Mile etc) .There is private parking for 1 car. There are 3 buses from a nearby bus stop which take only 10 minutes into town. The no 26 comes every 5 minutes while the 12 and 31 are every 10 minutes so there is always a bus coming. A day's bus pass giving unlimited travel costs only £2.30. For those with time there is a lovely off street walk into town by an old railway line and the Water of Leith via the Gallery of Modern Art. As Edinburgh is very congested the easiest way to get around is by public transport.
Being in the west part of Edinburgh my home is also convenient for the airport, Ingliston and of course, Murrayfield, for the rugby. Being close to the Motorway network and the bypass I am also well placed to be used as a touring centre for central Scotland.
A cat allows us to live with her.
