Whilst downstairs there is a comfortable sitting room with log burning stove for those cosy Winter evenings, a separate dining room, kitchen and bathroom. Sun blessed where once the mule was kept, is a courtyard sanctuary. Located on the outskirts of the village and leading straight into the countryside , within walking distance of all amenities including village pool set in its own gardens and many excellent (typically Spanish) restaurants and tapas bars, where you can experience the atmosphere of a truly Andalucian Spanish white village.

The pretty mountain village of El Burgo, shadowed by the sierras , in a National Park and surrounded by olive and almond groves was once the haunt of revered bandit Pasos Largos, otherwise Big Steps. Although he's long gone the soaring eagles and shy ibex remain in this terrain of the walker, birdwatcher and lover of the quiet life. Discover this area of outstanding natural beauty with its many marked trails from gentle walks to long hikes along the river turron and its many rock pools or just rest and take in the peace and countryside.
