5 min drive to La Duquesa beach, a large sandy beach, perfect for families, with beach bars and volleyball net. Walk the promenade all the way to Sabinillas beach, about a mile, to enjoy the views to Estepona and the rest of the New Golden Mile.
Well the Costa del Sol doesn’t have the nickname of ‘Costa del Golf’ for nothing! There are nearly 60 golf courses in Andalucia, of which 30 are on the Costa del Sol, so you’ll be spoilt for choice! The wonderful fine weather makes golf popular all year round. The area surrounding Duquesa boasts some of the best golf courses in Europe. Valderrama, which hosted the 1997 Ryder Cup is only 15 minutes away. La Duquesa Golf, Country Club & Spa is only a 5 min walk. La Duquesa Golf Course is a typical Trent Jones layout, demanding concentration and straight driving. The course winds around El Hacho Beacon Hill overlooking the Mediterranean to Africa. At the wonderful 17th hole, just 129m tee to green, but 30m straight down, you should beware of the wind, especially if the Poniente is blowing from the west. Details: 18 holes Par 70. Buggy and clubs hire. Hand cart rental, Restaurant/bar leisure facilities in clubhouse.
Casares, a beautiful white washed Andalucian mountain village is 15 mins by car. Spend the day experiencing a traditional Spanish 'pueblo'. Ronda is only an hour away by car and is one of the most distinctive and beautiful towns in Spain. It is split in two by the El Tajo gorge. The bullring is the oldest in Spain and worth a visit. Gibraltar is only 25 mins away, don't forget your passport to cross the border. A cable car runs to the top of the rock, where you can meet the Barbary Apes.

The port offers a great choice of bars and restaurants - sipping cocktails watching the yachts sail into the marina, enjoying traditional Spanish tapas as the sun sets or tucking into your favourite Indian or Chinese meal.

Perfect for our 1st holiday with new baby!

We had a fantastic holiday at the Duquesa Village apartment. The apartment was fully equipped with everything we needed for our stay. We stayed with a small child and you had even provided plastic cups and plates. Everything was clean, tidy and in good working order. The standard of the furnishings was excellent. The poolside area was clean and safe and had a covered area which was great for little children to play under in the hot summer sun. A car is essential in this area as the apartment is at the top of a steep hill. Duquesa port is only 5 mins away in the car, and is full of great places to eat and drink. Enjoy your holiday!

The excellent meet and greet service ensured that we knew all about the apartment, local and more distant areas, as well as where more details could be found. What a great idea the apartment manual is. The attention to detail is superb, starting with a welcome bottle of wine, and providing "freeview" uk tv, dvd player/ library etc, board games and pool/ tennis court toys. The apartment is well appointed with facilities and restaraunts in the port/ on the way to it and local supermarket s. it's ideal as abase for a family holiday, or golfing groups.

Kitchen: Fully equipped suitable for preparing light snacks as well as 5 course meals! 4-ring halogen hob, electric oven, larder fridge/freezer, microwave, toaster and dishwasher. 8 piece cutlery, crockery, cooking utensils and glassware.
Living Rooms: Large lounge/diner with patio doors to private sun terrace. 21" flat screen television, UK Sky TV, DVD/CD player. 2 chocolate leather, 3-seater, deluxe, metal action sofa beds (sleeps 4). Mexican Oak dining table and 6 chairs.
Cleaning/towels/linen/maid Service: Bed linen, tea towels and towels are provided. Apartment is cleaned prior to arrival and after departure. Please bring your own towels for use by the poolside.

Notes on accommodation:
For those with young children you can take comfort from being able to keep your eye on them from the sun terrace whilst they play at the pool. Hot and cold air-conditioning is provided for maximum comfort. Smoking is permitted only on the terrace. No pets allowed. Apartment available for both holiday and long-term lets. Booking notes
Dates will be held for 72 hours to enable flights and car hire to be booked. Deposit 25% of total balance. Remaining balance to be paid 8 weeks prior to departure. Payment can be made by cheque, bank transfer or PayPal account. £150 refundable security deposit to be held until safe return of apartment.

Changeover day
Saturday changeover preferred, but willing to be flexible.
Please note the apartment will be ready from 4pm on day of arrival and must be vacated by 10am on day of departure. However, depending on bookings, these times may be flexible, so please ask.
