.Visit beautiful and quaint Atlantic Beach, just 1/2 hr. north of historic St. Augustine and 1/2 hr. south of Amelia Island. Atlantic Beach is a slow-paced beachside town with year-round activities and events for every age group. There is a quaint and safe downtown area with cobblestone streets within a 10 minute walk from"Seaplace". It hosts many fine shops, restaurants with live music and cafes.
Take day trips to the historic fishing village of Mayport, and hop aboard the Mayport ferry for a scenic trip to Fort George, or head out to sea on a casino boat cruise. The nearby Mayport Naval Station offers visitors a tour of destroyers and frigates.
Further south, Jacksonville Beach always attracts plenty of beachcombers, but history buffs will find the town is worth a visit as well. The Pablo Historical Park explores the role of the Florida East Coast Railway in developing the area and offers guided tours of historic buildings.
In Ponte Vedra Beach, active vacationers can enjoy world-famous fairways and championship tennis courts. The prestigious home of the PGA Tour headquarters, Ponte Vedra Beach offers visitors the opportunity to play the same courses that challenge professional golfers.

Our 3 Bedroom Condo is located on Atlantic Beach, the oldest and most private of a string of beach communities that are along the Atlantic Shore near Jacksonville, Florida. Atlantic Beach has traditionally been a comfortable community of summer homes, gentle tides, radiant sunrises, and desirable residential privacy. At High Tide, the ocean is less than 300 feet away, with no streets to cross... and the balmy sea breeze never stops.
Imagine sugar-white sandy beaches kissed by gentle waves and glorious sunsets. Warm waters and salt air refresh the spirit, and a swim in the sea, a fishing trip or a round of golf just might relax the body.
The outside features of Seaplace boasts of beautiful landscaping, and 2 complete garden courtyards, very near the ocean. Our Condo is located all on the ground floor, and is but a few steps away from a large, outdoors, fresh-water swimming pool, for a refreshing dip anytime of day.
Large, sliding-glass doors separate your living room from a large Outdoor, enclosed Patio, surrounded by shrubs and flowers for complete privacy, when dining outdoors.
Inside, the Condo is fully-equipped with an all-electric kitchen, that includes refrigerator, stove, microwave oven, dishwasher, pots and pans, etc. A separate dining room is provided with table and chairs.
This Beach Condo is tastefully decorated with light and beachy furniture, white tile floors and wood flooring.
Seaplace is on Ocean Boulevard, a short distance north of Atlantic Boulevard. From there, it's an easy trip to the bridges and downtown Jacksonville. The finest seafood restaurants are close by; also, a treasure trove of small shops; the quaint Atlantic Beach Courthouse and township tennis courts.
And everywhere, the soothing sound of the waves regulates an easy pace for living. It's quite possible that Seaplace is everything you've always wanted.....and then some.

Beach
Besides the more than 50 miles of white-sand beaches, you'll find a variety of shopping areas along Hwy. A1A, which winds its way down the beaches, from Amelia Island to the north and St. Augustine to the south. The attractions, restaurantgs and boutiques that fill these coastal areas provide and enjoyable recess from the surf and sand.
The Jacksonville Beach Fishing Pier is a 983-foot-long pier that has long been a popular spot for anglers, surfers and sightseers. Daily, 6 a.m.-10 p.m.
Golf
There are so many Golf Courses in Jacksonville, there is no need to spell them all out, many located less than 5 miles from the Condo.
Fishing
The City of Jacksonville manages the following docks: Kathryn Abby Hanna Park, 500 Wonderwood Dr., Mayport (249-4700); Huguenot Memorial Park, a beach area where surfing, boardsailing, fishing and swimming are popular activities.
Accessibility
Wheelchair users can only use entranceway of Patio as a passage to Living Room and Dining Room areas.
Outside
Shared large, fresh-water swimming pool located directly outside your front door for a refreshing dip anytime of day.
To get to the Ocean, all you need to do is walk past a couple of buildings on the Seaplace grounds, and take a right-hand turn 300 feet to the dunes, sand and Ocean...no more than a 2 minute walk with no obstructions or streets to cross, and the balmy sea breezes continue to blow.
