The gulf view is a "knock-out" from the lower level "lock-out" (a self-contained unit) with its own kitchenette, bedroom w/ full bed, & sitting area w/ tv, chair bed, and sofa/sleeper. This level has a shower bath. Access the beach directly from the lower level deck via the boardwalk.

Three-level townhouse that has a large deck on each level along with patio furniture, grill, beach paraphernalia, shower, built-in benches and bar with bar stools to sit facing the gulf while eating or feeding the sea gulls. Furnished casually with a certain nautical look and bright colors. Strategically located for the plethora of vacation activities offered in the area, as well as fresh seafood If you wanted to stay closer to the Gulf of Mexico, you would have to be on a houseboat... as the photos show!

king in master bdrm., 1 queen in front bdrm. on upper floor; queen sleeper/ sofa on middle level; & 1 full bed in bdrm. as well as 1 full sleeper/sofa and 1 twin chair/bed in sitting room on lower level.
Bathrooms:
master bdrm. has its own bath; upper level also has 2nd bath in hallway; middle level has 1/2 bath; and lower level has bath w/ shower. All baths have tubs except 1/2 bath and lower level which has a shower. There is also an outside shower on lower deck for rinsing sand off when leaving beach.
Kitchen:
Unit contains 1 washer & 1 dryer. Kitchen has refrigerator w/ freezer compartment, electric range accompanied by built-in microwave, dishwasher,
double stainless steel sink w/ spray, lots of cabinets, lots of cookware, dishes, glasses, coctail/wine glasses, serving trays, huge salad bowls, small utensils for adequate food preparation, blender, coffeemakers, electric skillet, toasters, waffle iron, hamburger griddle, gas grill (on deck)
Living Rooms:

Other:
Each level has its own deck of approximately 12 feet by 12 feet in dimension. All but upper level has eating table and chairs. Lower level has built-in benches and swing.
Notes on accommodation: Beach is accessed from lower level. Guest must be in sufficiently good health to go up & down stairs. Beach is VERY close to back of unit; therefore very young children must be kept under close watch. Lower level is a "lock-out" which means it is self-sufficient from the rest of the unit. It has its own kitchenette w/ minor accessories (i.e. toaster/oven, microwave, under-counter refrigerator, small sink, countertop, etc. A good place for 2 families, elderly parents, or teens.

A commercial airport in the vicinity located in Panama City where rental cars are available. It is approximately 35 miles from the unit. There's also the airport in Pensacola with rental car accessibility. It is approximately 50 miles away.
Distances
Pensacola, FL, has an interesting naval air museum with virtual reality movies, the country's first space capsule and other fabulous naval memorabilia. There are also many artists living in the area from Pensacola to Seaside (where the movie, "The Truman Show" was filmed). Pensacola is also the home of the Blue Angels, the U.S Navy's flight training team. If one times his vacation right, he may be able to "catch" one of their air shows.
Further details
Destin is filled with many locally-owned boutiques and quaint shops of a clothing nature, antiques, bric-a-brac, handcrafted items, etc. In addition, there is the Silver Sands which is the largest high-end discount mall in the U.S. Shops like Tommy Hilfigger, Liz Claiborne, etc. are located there. Good enter tainment for a possible rainy afternoon.

Changeover day
Check-out is at 10:00 a.m. and check-in is at 4:00 p.m. You will be required to send certified funds in the amount of one-half of the total rate for the rental. In the summer, (from the week of Memorial Day to Labor Day), this unit is only rented by the week (from Saturday to Saturday). However, the rental schedule is flexible for the remainder of the year. There is a minimum of a 3-night stay required, however.
Golf
Some of the most popular and well-known courses such as Sandestin (up the street from this unit) are within bike-riding distance of this unit. And for the "little ones", don't forget there's goofy golf with all its watery and nautical
dips, turns and handicaps.....unique to the seashore.
Fishing
Get up at daybreak, go down the road to one of the marinas where you have a choice of various deep-sea fishing expeditions for the day. You may keep what you catch. Prices are very reasonable. Rigs are operated by seasoned locals who know their business well. In the event your fishing luck is not so good, along Emerald Coast Parkway, the main street of Destin, there is an abundance of restaurants serving mouth-watering seafood - fried, broiled, grilled, blackened ...... whatever your heart desires!
Scuba Diving
Many spots for scuba diving, operated by small companies who rent out diving equipment very reasonably or you may bring your own.......OR rent a wave-runner and skip over the water at break-neck speed for a thrill.....OR go parasailing.....a water sport where a Daredevil equipped with kite-like wings, takes off from a speedboat and soars 50 feet or more over the water's edge. For landlubbers who relish a thrill, but not in the "great deep", or for the timid pre-teen, the Big Kahuna Water Park, laced with rotund and mountainous water slides, can give patrons the vacation of a lifetime.
Beach
Sip a cocktail from the middle deck of the townhome while musing and enjoying the antics of the porpoises (dolphins) and cast your eyes toward the sunset in
Ski
If you want to live-it-up, take out your wallet, rent a ski rig for the day and get a terrific view of your surroundings......so many waterways, bayous, bays, inlets.......you've never seen so much navigable, pristine water.

Not good for persons confined to a wheelchair or who have lots of difficulty negotiating stairwells.
Outside
Aqua-blue water against snow-white sand gives one the feeling of being in Paradise. The sand on our beaches is finer than sugar......more like powdered sugar. The Emerald Coast has long been known by Florida's natives as "Florida's Best-Kept Secret". More and more vacationers are becoming aware of this area's beauty, its local quaintness and its transformation from a sleepy little fishing village to a popular summer resort where families and beachcombers flock each year from across the continental U.S.
