Distances
This part of Florida is an ideal base for day trips to explore the many local attractions. The ‘Everglades’ and Islands are just 2 hours drive to the south. Tampa Bay with Busch Gardens is 90 minutes drive to the north and we think this is one of the best theme parks for families. Disney World, Universal Studios and Sea World in Central Florida, only 2.5 hours drive away.

There's an abundance of good local restaurants in the area and all daily provisions are available from a selection of well-stocked supermarkets in Englewood within 5 minutes drive. For more general shopping there is an excellent Mall at Port Charlotte. And don't forget the Factory Outlets (shop 'til you drop!!) for designer bargain shopping all within 1 hour's drive at Ellenton and Ft Myers
Booking notes
Bookings will be confirmed upon receipt of the required deposit payment and the signed booking form. However, if the booking is made within 2 months of the holiday commencement date, the full amount of rental will be required on booking.
The balance of hire will be due 2 months before the holiday commencement date. The Owners reserve the right to cancel a booking where full payment has not been received 8 weeks prior to the holiday commencement date. Bookings made within 8 weeks of departure require full prepayment. A security deposit from £250 ($375) is required with the final balance payment dependent upon party size. This is fully refundable upon return of the house keys and garage door opener and confirmation by the Owners' agent that the house is in good order.
Once confirmation has been issued, the Hirer is responsible for the total price of the property rental as shown on the confirmation. Signing the booking form constitutes acceptance of these terms & conditions by the Hirer.
Provided the Owners receive written notice of cancellation not less than 10 weeks before the commencement date the Hirers will not be required to pay the full balance, however, the amount of the deposit will be forfeited. All cancellations must be notified in writing at the earliest opportunity. In the event of the Hirer having to cancel the booking, the following charges will apply:
More than 10 weeks prior to the date of the holiday - Deposit only
Between 8 - 10 weeks prior to the date of the holiday - 50% of the rental
Less than 8 weeks prior to the date of the holiday - 100% of the rental
Changeover day
The property will be available from 5 pm on the day of arrival and must be vacated by 11 am on the day of departure unless otherwise stated by or agreed with the Owners. These times must be strictly enforced to facilitate cleaning and a smooth changeover.
Golf
there are at least 5 golf courses within the boundaries of Rotonda, and another 5 within a 20-minute drive.
Fishing
There is an abundance of fishing and boating not only at Rotonda but also at world famous sports fishing grounds, such as deep-sea fishing for Marlin off Boca Grande island which is only a six mile drive to the south, so why not take the opportunity to charter a sailing boat with a skipper
Beach
White sandy beaches on the Gulf Coast at Englewood are only 15 minutes drive

The private luxury, screened pool is solar heated with an extended sun-deck to maximize sunbathing space and to catch those breathtaking sunsets at the end of the day. The area also has a safety screen to allow children to be able to play around the pool area without worry...so just relax and enjoy a glass of wine or a beer, whilst you decide which of the fabulous local restaurants you are going to visit this evening. There is also a Jacuzzi that is heatable up to 102F. The pool area is equipped with a large range of patio furniture and sun-loungers, and is wonderfully secluded by numerous trees and plants.
