Booking notes
Should you decide that you wish to book our condo for your vacation
the normal procedure to hold the condo is that we e-mail on a Booking
Form plus the Terms & Conditions for our guest to read and sign. The
guest would then return the booking form within 8 days with a deposit
of 25%. The balance would then be paid 4-6 weeks before the vacation
begins. Nearer your vacation we would send you a registration form to be completed and returned to us or our management company as all guests must be registered in the State of Florida and this saves guests valuable time going to the office to register.
We do accept payment by credit card once you have the facility to
transfer funds internationally, however, many of our guests find they
have problems with this type of payment and find it can be expensive.
Some guests prefer to wire the money direct to our bank account in
Ireland but this can sometimes be expensive also. Most guests prefer
to just pop a check in the mail with the completed booking form. This should reach us within eight days and is a way of keeping costs down for our guests.Payment choice is totally optional dependant on your preference.
Should you decide to book our condo and want to pay direct to our
bank account, we would forward you the details in due course. Again,
this is really a choice for you to make depending on what method of
payment you feel more comfortable with. If you decide to pay
electronically you must either mail or e-mail the completed booking
form back to us for our records.
When a guest has confirmed that they want to book our condo, we
provisionally book the nights on our calendar (so that our management
company will not put another guest into our home).When we receive
the deposit, we then confirm our home officially booked for your
vacation.
Nearer the date of arrival we send on all the relevant information,
including (home address, lock box number/directions) to make your
vacation a most enjoyable experience to remember.
Changeover day
Change over day is flexible.
Arrival time at house is 4pm and 10.00 am on departure day, unless otherwise agreed in writing with the home owner.
Golf
There are many golf courses only a short distance away. The well renowned community of reunion well known for its four master golf courses designed by some of America's great golfers including Tom Watson and Arnold Parmer is only a short distance away.
Beach
Cocoa Beach is approx 1 hours drive from our home.
CLEARWATER BEACH, FL
From Old Lake Wilson Road., proceed to the stoplight at W. Irlo Bronson Hwy. (Hwy. 192).
Turn right onto Hwy. 192 and continue approximately (3) miles.
Merge onto I-4 West toward Tampa and continue approximately 64 miles.
Merge onto I-275 via the exit on the left. Merge onto Memorial Hwy/FL-60 W via exit number 39 toward Tampa Airport/Clearwater.
Merge onto FL-60 via the exit on the left toward Clearwater and continue approximately 15 miles.
Turn slight left onto Court Street/FL-651 S.
Court St. becomes Pierce Street.
Turn left onto Memorial Cswy/FL-60 W.
End at Clearwater Beach.
COCOA BEACH,
From Old Lake Wilson Road, proceed to the stoplight at W. Irlo Bronson Hwy. (Hwy. 192).
Turn right onto Hwy. 192 and continue approximately (3) miles.
Merge onto I-4 East toward Orlando and continue for approximately eight (8) miles.
Take SR 528 TOLL E. Exit #72 (also called the “Bee Line”) toward Int’l Airport/Cape Canaveral.
Merge onto 528 East and continue approximately 50 miles.
FL 528 E. becomes FL A1A-S.
End at Cocoa Beach.
DAYTONA BEACH
From Old Lake Wilson Road, proceed to the stoplight at W. Irlo Bronson Hwy. (Hwy. 192).
Turn right onto Hwy. 192 and continue approximately (3) miles.
Merge onto I-4 East toward Orlando and continue for approximately 69 miles.
I-4 becomes FL 400 E.
Turn left onto S Ridgewood Ave/US-1 N/FL-5 N.
Turn right onto US-92 E/W International Speedway Blvd.
Turn left onto S Atlantic Ave/FL-A1A.
End at Daytona Beach.
Accessibility
The condo is situated on the first floor and is suitable for people with mobility problems as it can be easily accessed by use of the elevator situated in the centre of the building.
Outside
Our condo is in a great location near the clubhouse and communal
swimming pool with all the resorts amenities close at hand. Almost
all of the outdoor facilities are only a few seconds away, literally
out the back entrance of our building. The clubhouse and swimming
pool are no more than 2/3 minutes walk from our condo, in fact if you
just walk to the top of our street the side entrance to the swimming
pool is literally across the street and the clubroom is attached to
the swimming pool. The complex is situated just off Highway 192 with
it's many shops and restaurants and only a mile and a half from the
main gate of Disney World.
Our home is in an ideal location, I believe, because
you have a peaceful location with all the outdoor activities only seconds away and the buzz of the swimming pool and clubroom just across the top of the street. The close proximity to everything onsite allows easy access to all the amenities. Also something that helps to bring down the overall cost of your vacation is the fact that all facilities on the complex are free to guests (as you know, when on vacation the kids can cost you a fortune). There are quite a lot of things to do onsight, including cinema, tennis, pool tables, putting green, basketball court and volleyball etc).
