The Lamplighter Room: Located on the first floor, it offers an attached bath with an alcohol-burning fireplace. The matching rosewood queen-sized bed, armoire, and dresser are circa 1860.
The Whitacre Room: This room is on the second floor. It is named after the second owners of the house. It has an attached bath, an alcohol-burning fireplace, and is furnished with an Eastlake-style bedroom suite. The furniture was purchased new by a local family in 1882. This room has a queen-sized bed.
The Rebecca Room: Located on the second floor, this room was originally the children's room. It has an attached bath and is furnished with a rare 1840’s full-sized bed.
The Monroe Room: Named after Miss Ethel Monroe, the third owner, who occupied the house from 1901 to 1927, this room has an attached bath and a circa 1840 full-sized cannon ball bed. This was originally the boys' room.
Bathrooms:
Each Bathroom has its own tub/shower and plenty of luxury ammenities.
Kitchen:
There are no kitchens in the room. However, we do offer dining with an advance 3 day reservation. Our meals are exquisite!! We also offer a small kitchenette in the family room with snacks, coffee, teas, hot cocoa and a microwave and refrigerator.
Living Rooms:
Our commom living areas are open to all and are cozy and decorated with the rarest of antique treasures. Dvd's and movies are available for you to watch either in the common areas or in your own private room. A large library selection is also available for your reading pleasure. We have tons of games as well to spice up the fun!!
Cleaning/towels/linen/maid Service:
Rooms are serviced daily unless otherwise specified. Beds are made, towels replenished, toiletries replenished, trash emptied, etc...
Other:
We have an onsite gift shop with locally made items, jewelry, local wines, West Virginia memorabilia, candles, glassware and more!!

All shops, restaurants and museams are walking distance. We are located in a quaint town which is ideal for walking in good weather. Scenic train rides are just a fewmiles away and many other activites are very near by.

Accessibility
Unfortunately our rooms are not handicapped accessible at this time. However, we do have wheelchair accessibility in our 1st floor dining area and in our gift shop.
Outside
We have beautiful outdoor dining and gardens. Sit on our front porch and take in the fresh mountain air or have a romantic evening with a glass of wine in our garden.
