The village of Villers-Ste-Gertrude is part of the city Durbuy, a must for those who like shopping in medieval style. The area is known as walkers’ paradise and is very good for cyclist too. Durbuy is on the border of the geographical areas of the Ardenne, Famenne and Condroz. That adds to a wide variety of landscapes. Many attraction lie near this park like: Topiary-Park (form shaped tree), Durbuy, Labyrinth Barvaux, Kayaking on the river Ourthe. the dolmens and menhirs of Wéris, various golf courses, Coos' Waterfalls, the formula one circuit of Spa-Franchorchamps, the caves of Han, the euro space centre, the Hare-Krishna castle and an endless number of museums. There are also a number of theme parks, adventure grounds, citadels, area products and village feasts.

In the north of the province of Luxemburg, on the hills around Durbuy, is the miniature village of Villers-Ste-Gertrude. In the heart of the town is a beautifully renovated 17th century castle in a park of 4,5ha. In this spellbinding historical site is the group accommodation Le Bovet. You will feel like a castellan when you get here with your family, seminar or sports club. The traffic free park has a restaurant, tavern, play grounds, an arboretum, conference infrastructure, 50km sign posted and documented walkways, organised activities and advice and information about the region, mountain bike rentals and cross country ski rentals. Together with some other buildings (like a polyvalent gymnasium) the castle is part of the domain Villers- Ste-Gertrude, within the village centre with the same name. Booking notes
Villers is part of a quiet rural village. Out of respect of the residence and other tenant nightly noise is prohibited. All tenants are requested to be quiet after 22.00. Groups (teenagers) that want to spend their time partying are not allowed here. The use of electricity, water, TV, heating etc costs €11,- a day and is to be paid on arrival. If you would like to order the hotel service it costs 15 euros per person and you beds will be made on arrival and you will get soap, toilet paper and bathing towels. You can also hire bed linen (6,50) and bath linen (3,50). Pets cost 2,50 per night. All these costs need to be paid upon arrival.
