Borovets is of course best known for the international family friendly ski and snowboard resort. It's a lively but picturesque village style resort bustling with restaurants,bars and shops.New runs , facilities and gondolas have been added as part of the 'Super Borovets' project destined to land the resort with the 2014 winter Olympics. It's a great place to go in the summer too as the gondolas and ski lifts take you to the very peak of the mountain tops. You will not experience better views than these anywhere else in Europe. Samokov is the nearest town and has a number of excellent restaurants and the wonderful daily market selling fresh oganic locally produced fruit and vegetables.Every monday a huge market takes place drawing traders from all over the province and offers just about everything you could want in a market.The town is famed for its wood carving industry and hand fashioned copper ornaments. Designer brands are available at bargain prices in a number of shops and you will inevitably find less than legal but extrememly good designer clothing and watches as well!
The Iskar lake just minutes down the road is one of the largest in Europe and is literally teeming with fish. You can hire boats , walk ,fish and picnic. There are rivers, lakes mountains all on the door step and if you turn left out of "Kozle's" garden gate then that's all there is for miles and miles! Hot Spa's are minutes away and golf courses rearby.Do as much or as little as you want.It's a holiday that offers what ever you want.
The village of Dospei is quiet, friendly and charming. There are a couple of produce shops three bars and a restaurant just a five minute stroll from the chalet.

However if you just wish to relax then you can chill out in the gardens. Overlooked by no other property the gardens feature lawns fruit trees , vines fruit bushes including strawberries , raspberries & blackberries. A large patio fronts the barn and outbuildings and there are garden games, patio tables ,and of course a barbie!
The large open air balcony accessed off the first floor hallway is just a fabulous place to sit eat , drink and watch the world go by. Some time all that passes by are goats and sheep making there way up into the mountains just beyond "Kozle".

Airport: Sofia airport transfers at discounted rates.: 60 km only. The trip from the airport takes no more than 60 minutes. The once notorious potholes are largley a thing of the past!
Further details
The town of Samokov is five minutes away and has markets for local produce and a couple of good sized supermarkets including a "Billa".

There are golf courses nearby and several more being planned.
Fishing
The fishing is amazing. Trout as well as the usual course foish are found in the local rivers and in the vast Iskar lake (20k long) that is just a few minutes from the chalet by car.
Ski
Ski resort location. "Kozle"'s village is on the edge of the "Super Borovets" scheme that will see the resort become a major player in winter sports.
Wine Tasting
The Bessa Valley vinyard described by Janice Robinson (Telegraph and tv wine critic) as world class is an hour or so away. A fabulous wine tour with food and sampling can be had! Many other less celebrated vinyards are within striking distance.
Accessibility
The chalet is not especially adapted those with mobility problems but the garden has solid flat pathways and the stairs are wide and have shallow tread angles. The garden is flat and there is a large flagged patio.
Outside
A tranquil setting.Large enclosed private gardens with lawns, fruit trees,vines,flower beds. A large paved patio area is bounded by the barn and outbuildings .Patio furniture is supplied. There are plenty of playing areas for children and the whole garden is secure behind fencing.BBQ.The barn has been used as a goal on more than one occaision and has a netball hoop in place! There is a stream on the opposite side of the track outside of the property .Plenty of parking spaces
Overlooked by no other property. Quiet.Tranquil. A short stroll from the village centre or a minute or so if you use the mountain bikes!
