The picturesque town of Medulin, situated on the southernmost part of the Istrian Peninsula, is one of the most popular tourist destinations in Istria. Today Medulin is one of most developed towns in Croatia and is, together with its citizens, fully-oriented toward two things: modern tourism and traditional fishing. You will spend your holiday in the atmosphere of the unique bay of Medulin with its 12 islets and lovely beaches surrounded by pine woods. The sports possibilities of Medulin are surely one of its main assets. Six turf football fields, an athletic track, a discus and shot-put circle, long jump and high jump area, the possibility to rent a bike and visit all the nearby sights, a gym and a 14-kilometer-long track are just some of the reasons to spend your holiday here. In Medulin there are eight tennis courts, three beach volleyball courts, six diving centers, horse centers…There is also the fabulous promontory of Kamenjak- a little protruding part of the continent immersed in the blueness of the Adriatic Sea for 9 kilometers. It offers 30 kilometers of well-indented beaches which are considered some of the most beautiful in the Mediterranean.The uniqueness of this area was known even in ancient times as evidenced by the fact that during the time of the Roman Empire people used to spend their holidays here.
