In summer it is magnificent to linger in the garden with the children. For a sporty or relaxed holiday, this part of the Czech Republic has numerous options. Cycling or hiking along marked trails, tennis, or golf on an excellent course just 20 km away. Swimming is possible at a nearby lake, the water sports center of Rozkoš, or open-air baths in nearby locations (the one in Trutnov is even heated). In the vicinity there are also indoor swimming pools. One of them is located in the Polish town of Kudowa Zdroj. In the area you will find interesting tourist sites, such as the Adršpach National Park with its bizarre rock formations, the Broumovske walls, and the area around Machov, Ostaš and Hvezda. For families with children, it is a very appropriate environment. In addition to the above-mentioned swimming pools there is an animal park and a safari park: Dvur Kralove nad Labem. At a small distance there are several featured locks. Kuks in Broumov is an imposing baroque monastery. Recommended day trips include: the Giant Mountains, the Christmas stable in Třebechovice, Aqua Park in Hradec Kralove, or Poland with the Kudowa Zdroj health resort, the Gor Stolowich National Park and the Polish market.
