The village of Les Vieux Champs lies at an altitude of 550 meters, 1.5 km from the village of Plaine. This holiday facility consists of 60 apartments. You will find a reception area with tourist information, a corner fireplace, reading area, a game room with ping pong and foosball tables, a TV room and a play area for children over 3 years of age. Other facilities include a barbecue, a sports field for basketball, volleyball and badminton, a Jeu de boules court, a tennis court, childrens playground, a heated swimming pool with a sunbathing area (open from mid June to mid September), a Laundromat and a parking lot. On the spot you can borrow a baby care kit (baby bed, bath, highchair). Also available: baby bag, bottle warmers, irons, games, electric grill, fondue set and a blender. For an additional fee you can order a package of linen, cleaning or laundry service. This is regulated on the spot. A baker comes one day each week (year round) and from April to mid-September, during French school holidays, takeaway meals are available. Each week there is an organized hike in the surrounding area, and in the afternoons there are organized video programs, a regional market, etc. Evening entertainment is also provided and includes such things as dances and much, much more. During the holidays there are various children /youth clubs for ages 6 to 17 years. Shops can be found at a distance of 1.5 and 3.5 km. Pets are allowed, for an additional fee and provided they were mentioned at the time of reservation. Dogs must be on a leash! Proof of vaccination is mandatory. Fighting dogs such as Pitbulls are not allowed. The nearest ski resort for Alpine skiing and cross-country skiing is 14 km away. This ski area is accessible via shuttle during the school holidays and when a sufficient number of passengers is obtained (for a fee). If you rent the apartment in winter (from December to mid-March) bed linen is included in the price.
