The apartment is located in the middle of beautiful natural surroundings in the medieval village of La Boissieres. From here you can go on numerous excursions and also make use of the many bicycle routes. The area is a paradise for 'green tourism' and offers a wide selection of attractions including medieval castles and towers, caves, Romanesque churches, traditional markets, and culinary delights (Cahors wines, foie gras, truffles). You will also find numerous opportunities for sports activities such as hiking, cycling, horseback riding and canoeing on the Lot River. Nearby you have the possibility to play tennis or golf. On the culinary side this region has a lot to offer. Duck is the local specialty. Confit de Canard, foie gras, Salade de Gésiers and Magret de Canard are all highly recommended (you can try these in one of the local restaurants). The town of Agen is about 40 km away.
