The nearest 18 hole golf course is less that 20 minutes away above Bagneres de Bigorre where you have fabulous views of the Pic de Midi from nearly every hole.

Ski
La Mongie / Bareges the largest ski resort in the Pyrenees is only 35 mins away which is ideal for all standards of skiers. Off Piste - yes with the Pic de Midi lift now open to groups (with a guide) wishing to attempt the descent from the observatory at 2877m right down into the resort at La Mongie with restaurants and bars.
If you are a keen walker who would like an alternative to skiing then why not try snowshoeing.
Snowshoeing can be described as winter walking. On snowshoes you can go to places otherwise inaccessible in the snow, It has become very popular in the last ten years. In winter the mountains and forests around our home are transformed to a blanket of white.
