The villa is uniquely positioned on a strip of land. It is the last house on a minor road with just two other country houses. It is 130 metres above sea level. The villa enjoys uninterrupted views of the medieval town of Obidos and the Obidos Lagoon. The Atlantic Ocean is visible behind them. Obidos is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It is 7 minutes away by car.

The villa has a real Portuguese atmosphere with its traditional blue details, outside shutters, flooring and pastel yellow walls. The villa is surrounded by a number of marble terraces. The swimming pool has Roman stairs and is adjacent to the terrace. It is eight steps lower and is enclosed by walls on three sides. There are sun loungers, parasols and an outside shower. You can enjoy the private tennis court. Part of the villa is for the sole use of the owner. When the villa is rented out, privacy is fully guaranteed. The grounds are accessed by an electric gate and the house is surrounded by recently planted olive trees, palms, lavender and oleander shrubs.

There is a modern supermarket seven minutes away by car which produces freshly baked bread every day. There are a number of beaches thirty minutes away by car. You can visit the Foz dArelho Lagoon, the Atlantic coast, Baleal, Praya del Rey and the romantic San Martinho Bay. There are numerous golf courses, including the famous Praya del Rey Golf Club. There are many historically interesting places in the area. You can enjoy day trips to attractive places such as Sintra, Lisbon (85 km) and Coimbra via the A8, the Route Atlantico.

As the villa is surrounded by a former aqueduct which creates a steep gulf around the grounds, the owner will not allow children under the age of 12 years.
