Casa das Almas is in the Minho Valley a short drive to the Minho River where there are several river beachs with bars near them.This a great area for the out doors person with walking mountain biking ,climbing caneoing quad biking and rafting. Type	Description:
Bedrooms:	The accommodation upstairs in farm house comprises of two double bedrooms and a room with bunk beds, and sleeps up to 6 People. The adega suite which is seperate has a double bed and sofa with shower room.sleeps 2.We also have a cot free of charge for child upto 2 years of age.
Bathrooms:	The bathroom in farmhouse comprises of a bath with shower, toilet, bidet and wash hand basin. Shower room in Adega has shower,wash hand basin and toilet.
Kitchen:	There is a large well equipped kitchen with hob and oven, fridge / freezer, microwave and washing machine together with a spacious dinning area leading onto an outside balcony overlooking the vines and orange trees. For the more adventurous there is a wood burning hergom ( stove) and the original bread oven.
Living Rooms:	Downstairs which was originally the animal and grain stores are now the winter lounge with television and tastefully furnished for your comfort together with a log burner for the winter months. Through the connecting door is the dinning room furnished in traditional pine offering ample space and ambience for the family meal.Both lounges have french doors that lead out to the secluded vine shaded courtyard.
Cleaning/towels/linen/maid Service:	linen and towels are provided and changed weekly.No pool towels provided.

Travel
Porto and Santiago do Compostela airports and a 90 min drive. Vigo airport 30 mins drive. A hire car is essential in this area.

Distances
Nearest large town is Monção where there are many resturants,cafes,banks shops and supermarkets a 10 min drive away. A short 3 min drive will take you to Valinha where there are shops, post office,hairdressers,bars and Phamacy

Booking notes
A 50% depoist is requird on booking and the balance payable 8 weeks before holiday.

Changeover day
Flexible change over days. Depart by 10am and arrive after 3pm.

Fishing
There are many rivers in the area (fishing permits are require) and the sea is 30-40 drive.

Beach
30-40 min drive to the coast where you have the choice of many beaches both in Portugal and Spain. in our area there are also many river beaches most with a cafe|bar for drinks and snacks.

Wine Tasting
There are many adegas in the area and most of the wines can be tasted at the local tourist board.

Accessibility
Due to the area and age of the property it is not suitable for people who are disabled.There are many steps around the house as the land and gardens are terraced.

Outside
mature gardens and barbecue area with its own undercover eating patio area with table and chairs. Should you wish, one can also dine alfresco at the granite picnic table with its stunning view down the valley. Have morning coffee on the balany or by the pool.

The large private swimming pool with outside shower is situated at the rear of the property on a elevated terrace ideal for sunbathing on the sun loungers. There is ample parking for 3 or more cars in the drive and parking area behind the pool.
