Our nearest larger towns are just a short drive away: Archidona (10 minutes) and Antequera (30 minutes). We are ideally situated to visit many larger towns and cities using the quality network of roads and motorways. These include Iznajar, Jaen, Malaga, Granada, Seville and Cordoba. The beaches and varied attractions of the Costa Del Sol are only 45 minutes away and local attractions include El Torcal National Park, the Lobo Park and El Chorro (our very own 'Lake District'!) . If you enjoy walking, climbing, sight-seeing, bird watching or just relaxing in our beautiful garden by the pool. then Cortijo La Nava is for you!

Description:
Cortijo La Nava is a typically Spanish Farmhouse and Granary apartment, beautifully restored to a very high standard and set in a quiet location amongst rolling olive groves, close to the pueblo of Villanueva Del Trabuco. We have a large mature garden with large lawn, trees, shrubs and plants and a large private swimming pool and boule terrain. We are in an excellent location, suitable for trips to Antequera, Malaga, Granada, Seville and Cordoba. The Farmhouse and adjoining Granary can be rented separately or together for larger parties of 14 to 16.
Notes on price:
For prices for both units, add the Farmhouse & Granary prices together and deduct 10%
For prices for 2 weeks, double the 1 week prices and deduct 10%
Excluding July & August, a discount is available for less than full occupancy in the Farmhouse, except in winter months.
Bed & Breakfast rates are available for low season dates.

All necessary bed linen and indoor towels are provided. The property is thoroughly cleaned prior to your arrival and we provide a mid-week towel change. For bookings of 2 weeks we also provide a mid term bed linen change.

The garden has various patios and seating areas and includes tables, chairs, umbrellas, a hammock and sun loungers.

Our nearest Airports are Malaga or Granada, both approx. 40 minutes. We recommend hiring a car to visit the many areas of interest.
Distances
Our local pueblo of Villanueva Del Trabuco is only 4 minutes by car.
Further details
Trabuco has a good selection of shops, banks and restaurants and a daily fish and fruit/vegetable market. The general market is every Wednesday. There is a major supermarket in nearby Archidona.
Booking notes
Bookings are confirmed upon receipt of a 20% deposit. Full payment is required 8 weeks prior to the start date. Granary guests may share the garden and pool with guests in the Farmhouse and Farmhouse guests vice versa. However, sole occupancy can be guaranteed for Farmhouse guests for a small additional cost.
Changeover day
We do not have fixed arrival/departure days as we are aware of the need to avoid expensive weekend flight costs. We welcome your arrival at any time but cannot guarantee access to the accommodation before 4.00pm if we have guests departing on that day. We will gladly store your luggage and allow access to the garden and pool. We would ask guests to vacate at 10.00am and again we would be pleased to store luggage and allow access to the garden and pool until you need to depart for the airport.
Beach
The beaches of the Costa Del Sol are within easy access. Malaga 40 minutes. Torremolinos 50 minutes. Fuengirola 60 minutes. Puerta Banus/Marbella 90 minutes.
Ski
The Ski slopes of the Sierra Nevada 60 minutes.
Accessibility
The Granary apartment is on one level and therefore may be suitable for people with mobility difficulties.
Outside
Our beautiful garden has large lawned areas and a wide selection of trees, shrubs and plants. The pools is private for use by guests in the Farmhouse and Granary. Exclusive use of the entire property is negotiable for Farmhouse guests. The pool is 9 x 4 metres plus Roman steps at one end and is 1 < 2 metres deep. The garden has various seating areas with tables, chairs, umbrellas, a hammock and sun loungers. We have our own boule terrain.
