There are several locations in the La Cala hills to enjoy pony-trekking, with professional guides offering riding lessons for the less experienced rider. Or maybe you would prefer to watch the horse races at the fantastic Hipodromo del Sol, located in the hills above La Cala, offering night-time racing during the summer.

We would like to thank you both for the opportunity of spending a week's holiday in your stunning apartment. We couldn't fault anything, from landing at the airport, the meet and greet with your key holder, to collecting our hire car and your easy instructions to find the apartment - the whole process went so smoothly. The apartment was home-from-home and we couldn't want for anything more, other than our own butler! Our daughter made friends during and stay, so did not want to come home. All in all a fabulous break and we are counting the time until we can go back. You would be insane not to book this amazing apartment, especially at their prices!

Private sun terrace with Rattan-style sofa and armchairs, coffee table and outdoor plants, overlooking shared pool. For those with young children you can take comfort from being able to keep your eye on them from the sun terrace whilst they play at the pool. Private, secure underground car parking. Apartment is situated on the 2nd floor and can be accessed via stairs and elevator. Complex has beautiful landscaped gardens, full of exotic and fragrant plants. The community benefits from secure gated access with video phone entrance for added security.

20 mins to both Malaga airport. 45 mins to Gibraltar airport. Hire car recommended, we can suggest good suppliers at both locations.
Booking notes
Smoking is permitted only on the sun terrace. Apartment available for both holiday and long-term lets. For long-term prices please contact owners.
Bookings dates will be held for 72 hours to enable flights and car hire to be booked. Deposit 25% of total balance. Remaining balance to be paid 8 weeks prior to departure. Payment can be made by cheque, bank transfer or PayPal account. £150 refundable security deposit to be held until safe return of apartment.
Changeover day
Saturday changeover preferred, but not essential. Please liase with owners. Apartment is available from 4pm on day of arrival and must be vacated by 10am on day of departure. However if we do not have a changeover booking this can be flexible so please ask.
Golf
Well the Costa del Sol doesn’t have the nickname of ‘Costa del Golf’ for nothing! There are nearly 60 golf courses in Andalucia, of which 30 are on the Costa del Sol, so you’ll be spoilt for choice! The wonderful fine weather makes golf popular all year round. The area surrounding Calanova is known as the Mijas golf valley and boasts some of the best golf courses in Europe. Valderrama, which hosted the 1997 Ryder Cup is only 15 minutes away.

Apartment is 5 minutes by car/taxi from the beach at La Cala de Mijas.
